okay so Eddie was annoying, yes. But this is a must ready for any twihard. It actually put a lot in perspective and I feel like I walked away with a better understanding of the whole plot - which I was not expecting!!! I mean, I spent my entire tween years dissecting the whole thing lol. Like, part of me wants to hate on him for being whiney but also it was really cool to see his thought process and delve more into the "inevitability" of the meadow scene. I don't think I really understood the gravity of the situation for Eddie - I was so focused on Bell's earth shattering experience. ANYWAY it was kinda hard to get through b/c its repetitive and whiney LOL but tbh so worth it.

I have always had a love-hate relationship with the Twilight Saga. I read all of the books when I was in middle school/high school as they were coming out and was OBSESSED with them. Even then I could see some of the bad messages and stereotypes reinforced in the books (abusive relationships, unhealthy obsession, Edward's bloodlust as metaphor for actual lust, etc.), but I still love reading the books.
*SPOILERS:
This new installation is no exception. Seeing the story from Edward's perspective was NOT just a rehashing of Twilight and a cash-grab for Stephenie. I learned more about the characters (what Bella actually looks like, the Cullens' relationships with each other), their motivations (Edward's transformation in the meadow, and that Edward had already decided to eventually leave Bella in New Moon because of the James fiasco and not because Jasper got snappy and Bella cut her hands), and details that were originally just brushed over (the car chase in Phoenix and Alice's expert cover-up). All of these extra details add so much more to the Bella-Edward(-Jacob?) story. I know logically that a 100-year-old perfect immortal vampire falling in love with a teenager is weird and creepy, but that doesn't mean I didn't love reading this book and was left wanting more at the end.

I think that this was my favorite of all of the Twilight series. Getting this look from Edward's point of view was amazing. There were holes filled that I didn't even notice needed to be filled in the first place. You can really see just how much Bella meant to him and why she meant that much in the first place. I definitely recommend this book out of any of the others.

Those you definitely get a clearer picture of the store and Edward's thoughts. The timeline seems to have been added to and doesnt always match up. Though Edward is a vampire and he does think faster than a human caused the book to be much long and at some points dragged on. I have a deep love for the Twilight saga they helped me through a very dark time in my life so I loved reading this POV. It gave extra light to the story. I am also not one to let others' thoughts change my own. ;)
