This book is nothing like what I expected when it started. There is so much wholesome companionship and cozy scenery to immerse within. I don't want to give too much away, but this book holds so much of what I love; inside references between friends/companions, scenery that almost acts as it's own character, magical realism, and a slow and atmospheric vibe. Such a delightful reading experience!
