To be fair, yes: this was steamy, juicy, page turning. But the relationship between a 17 year old a nearly 40 year old really rubbed me the wrong way. Also, it’s almost as if the story used queerbating and lesbianism as a plot twist, which I don’t really think is appropriate in this context.

I hated the characters, but I think that made it better? Definitely didn’t want to put it down. Twist was a little predictable, but I still enjoyed!

I read this for a book club which was good because there was a lot to talk about. I really did not like it at all. The characters were so unlikeable and morally reprehensible that it wasn't even fun to read. I did not like the use of the unreliable drunk narrator trope as it felt like it was used to deflect the main actions of the main character.

Love the cover though.

This book was CRAZY!!! I can’t say that I like to single character they were all so disgusting but I could not stop reading this book!!! Talk about a bunch of rich, crazy, entitled people!! I like sophie until she started hanging around these crazy women!! I couldn’t read this at five only because I hated all the characters so much but maybe that should make it a five because that was the intent of the book?!!! What a crazy, wild ride of a book very enjoyable I read it in a couple days!

Received this through BOTM. I enjoyed it! Has some good twists and is a quick read. I do agree the characters are not like able and do a lot of terrible things. But you don’t have to like the characters to enjoy a book.
