this book was so... erratic..? like, nothing made sense. it starts out fine, going as one would think people would act when a deadly asteroid is about to hit. and then the climax is just... weird?? it doesn’t fit with the rest of the book. i just felt like chapters 31-37 were from a completely different book it was SO weird. idk, it was a fine book but nothing profound.
I'm not really sure what to say about this book. It was beautifully written. And beautifully philosophical. And beautiful.
The characters were alive. And there were some amazing musical references. And it just seemed like an ode to life, in the face of death.
How beautiful.

definitely one of those books you read and know you read, but you can’t exactly remember what you read. none of the characters truly stick with you, but the idea of a world ending comet does. not a bad book, imo. doesn’t take long to read either

i am horrible at reviews, so please bare with me.
i finished this book about 3 minutes ago and i am disappointed. the story itself was average. i liked it, but i didn’t love it. there was a forced love triangle for no reason, i especially hated that part. the idea was there, but it was executed VERY poorly.
One good thing that really stood out to me,
Wallach writes his teenage characters accurately. they do things that you could see the teenagers of today do.
i could find some people really relate to the characters, and their experiences. besides the inevitable near death
Holy crap! I was not expecting to love this book as much as I did. It was like the breakfast club but with the world ending. I loved that all of the characters were so different from each other but they all needed each other at the end of the everything. They had different mindsets but no one can understand them like the rest of them can.
By the end of the book, I was completely heartbroken with tears in my eyes. This book was very impactful for me because it just made me question if what I'm doing with my life is actually what I want to be doing and also makes me think about what I would do if I had a time limit.
I listened to the audiobook for this and I absolutely loved it because there was a cast so even if I wasn't reading along with my book, I still knew who's perspective I was listening to.
I know this book didn't get a lot of hype when it came out but I definitely think you guys should read this book when you have the chance. It will really make you think about everything in your life.

I still have yet to decide just what I think about this book. More to come.
We All Looked Up made me even more emotionally unstable than I already was, when it comes to books that is. I found the characters relatable and the storyline very unique. I just couldn't put this book down, and I found myself thinking about the characters when I was forced to set it down. The ending, on another note, left me nearly speechless. I'd recommend this book to anyone who loves a relatable, raw YA story.
It's like The Breakfast Club...with an asteroid. I enjoyed it. :)
