Eh a 3.5 ⭐️. It was okay, definitely a different story so I was intrigued with that, and I appreciated the way the ending was… more open ended versus a cut and dry ending.

I'm always intrigued by the asteroid-about-to-crash-into-Earth books, but this one falls short (as did Tumble & Fall by Alexandra Coutts--I can't help comparing them.) The main characters are flat, there is way too much sleaze and thug life, and while the characters do try to make something of their final days, there isn't much for redeeming qualities here. Don't any teens or parents want to see each other in their final moments? And a detention facility for children during a time of crisis?? I think parents would find a way to get to their children before their friends did. This book crashed and burned, in my opinion.

  • good idea
  • not really how teenagers behave or feel
  • too apocalyptic

Absolut tolles Buch. Regt sehr zum Nachdenken, über sein Leben und wie man es lebt, an.

this book is silly and weird and cliche and problematic and a little bit beautiful, idk if it was worth the read but I will think about it again

So much better than I was expecting. Loved the different point of views every chapter and how they all interlaced with one another.

Honestly i don’t know why there are so many bad reviews of this book.

It was hard to get into it at first given it was trying to introduce you to all the characters right off the get-go but this story was just beautiful all the way around. a lot of books you can expect / guess what’s going to happen next but this one kept you on your toes and gave you an ending worth thinking about.

From the tears i shed, to the nail biting suspense, i loved everything about this book. The characters are all so relatable in their own ways, the story gives you a new perspective on love, living life, and death as a whole, and the book just overall left me feeling thankful and happy in the end.

I wasn't sure what to expect from this book when I picked it up, but I certainly ended up enjoying it. A whole slew of stereotypical characters have some amazing new life breathed into them, and some death-or-death situations lead to some crazy shenanigans.

The characters in this book were wildly diverse, and interesting. The jock, the nerd, the stoner, and the vixen all have new dimensions added to their stereotypical-ness. I actually ended up liking most characters, and loving Anita. I'm not sure why, but each character spoke to me in their own way, and I found myself relating.

I love end of the world books, and this one was really different. The plot followed people trying to live before they ultimately die, rather than some hero trying to save the world. I was that stupid person, hoping that the meteor (or whatever it was) wouldn't hit earth, so that very last page slayed me. Also, PETER MY BABY! I'M SO SORRY!!!

A few things that I wished had been done differently: less of Golden and Bobo. I really hated both of them, and they creeped me out so much. I think while they were necessary, there could've been less of them. One more thing, a Misery POV.
