I don't remember the last time I regretted spending money on a book (and I mostly read political non-fiction).

I kept almost DNF'ing this book, although it got a bit more interesting halfway through with the 2024 election coverage. But the bulk of it was the same story over and over again -- Biden showed his age with his actions, someone was worried about it and raised concerns, the campaign assured it was all fine and Biden just had a bad day -- rinse and repeat for 350 pages.

I believe this book is 10x better than “Fight: Inside the Wildest Battle for the White House” by Amie Parnes and Jonathan Allen. Sources were named, Tapper provides his insight, and the story of how Biden’s closest allies kept DC & the nation out of the loop is borderline criminal.
