Ok this book was so easily bingeable - it had me hooked. It was giving rich kid gossip girl vibes in like a coastal community (kinda like outerbanks but without the pogues) crossed with “the inheritance games” without the mystery aspect.

Its YA and takes place at a high school prep school, but it was twisted, it was messy and it would have had 16 year old me reading late at night under the covers hiping my parents didn’t catch me.

It’s not the most unique storyline or the best writing overall, but dang it if those last few pages didn’t have my heart raving feeling like I was right there experiencing it along with Ella! Needless to say, I will definitely be picking up the next one soon

It wasn't very beautifully written but it was entertaining to me because it is like Hana Yori Dango/Meteor Garden/Boys Over Flowers. The pace was really quick like watching the tv dramas.

Have you ever read a book that was so bad that you should just stop reading the book but you can't? It's like watching a train wreck, you can't look away. It is bad. I just read two books that are a part of a series, the third book is set to be released in October 2016.

I was totally sucked into this first book, and yeah, it was bad from the beginning. The characters are so outrageously over-the-top and the storyline is much to much to be taken seriously and yet I saw potential. I was hopeful, and then I liked the two main characters so I stuck with it.

There were moments of cringe, but overall a quick read that has me hooked for the rest of the series.

I did not expect this book to hook me, but it did and almost right away. The synopsis does not do this book justice (IMHO). The characters are completely over the top, but bubbling with energy that they almost jump off the page. I liked Ella immediately and just wanted her to succeed and find happiness and some safety. Her emotions were so raw and well written that I felt them all with her. So much of the story line seemed over the top and ridiculous, but it worked! It worked and I was dying to know what would happen page after page. I don't read many romance books, but the romance in this book was great and not too much (At least for me). This book is a guilty pleasure that I don't actually feel guilty about loving at all! The end had me enraged and intrigued and THANK GOD I had the next one handy because it would have been KILLER to wait to see what happened. I am continuing on with this series right away.
