Bending the Rules
A super slow burn, brother best friend sports romance. Just when we thought Lincoln and Reagan were finally giving themselves a chance at love, Mariah Dietz wrote that cliffhanger! Holy Cow! Running to book two NOW!

It's always the ones we shouldn't...
Her brother's best friend and teammate. The guy she's been crushing on for 2 years. He embodies everything she wants but also everything she needs to stay away from.
Their push pull will nake you dizzy while their hormones will make you feel like a teen again. The potential for them is like a brand new notebook and yet, they keep closing the cover. Until they don't but other forces may keep them apart...
I can't wait to start book 2! I need all the answers after that cliffhanger.

Didn’t vibe with the characters. FMC had no backbone when it comes to the MMC

4 Stars (although post Book 2 me wants to deduct because of my overall feelings about the duo....)
Immediately when I started reading, I was super impressed with Mariah Dietz's writing and her character crafting. I felt like I immediately got a feel for Reagan that I really, really enjoyed and couldn't wait to get into the book. Through the course of the book there were definitely a few things that I didn't like but for the most part I enjoyed it and was really interested to get to Book 2... which is definitely where the story fell apart for me.
