this one was a free kindle book.

i didn't mind the story, sort of liked it and the characters actually.... but what was that. nothing happened. where was the character growth? what exactly was the point of that book? i just felt like it was an intro and then when things finally started getting interesting and it looked like we might get some resolution or growth... bam it was over. and a cliffhanger ending at that.

disappointed.

I loved this book right up till the end. So not a big fan of cliff hanger endings. If the 2nd book hadn't been readily available I would have written this series off.

3.5 stars. I wasn't as invested in the characters as much as I wanted to be. Going on to book 2 based upon peer feedback that I'll like it lots more.

AHHH!!!!!! OMG...oMG....OOOOOMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a fan-freaking-tastic book!!

I am freaking the hell out, twitching to get my hands on the second book and continue reading!

Wow, just WOW!

Katherine Rhodes, you have yourself a lifetime fan here!

The book was so good. The characters are amazing!! The story line is phenomenal...like seriously...who wouldn't love to read about a Domme for a change of pace.

I fell in love myself with Nathaniel and Emmy! These two have some serious obstacles to overcome to be able to come to terms with the vanilla lifestyle and the BDSM aspect as well. But my GOD! I never would have thought reading about a man being the sub being as amazing as it was!

Warning massive cliff hanger!!!!

Not 50 but close if not better.

I must admit it was very strange reading a BDSM story where the woman is the Domme. I found that I maybe a little prudish when it comes to Men being tied up and flogged.

However the characters are great, the way the relationship develops between Emmy and Nathaniel is fab.

I must admit I found it extremely hard to get into the book at first but after 50% the book became UnPutDownable :-)
Only part I found and still find extremely irritating is the fact that we don't know much about either party. The author gives us snippets and you think oooo this is it, we will find out why Emmy's "tits" are such a hard limit but no, nothing. Not enough past in my opinion to keep you riveted.

Starting book two :)

Most defiantly recommend this book but watch out for the cliff hanger if you aren't ready to read the second one immediately afterwards.
:-)

Miss Rhodes does a good job of reversing the normal BDSM books that I am use to reading. I loved Emmy as the strong Domme verses the strong male leads I am use to reading in books. this was a free book on amazon with an intriguing cover so glad that i picked it up because i could not put it down.
