I enjoy the author’s other works (including within this series), I just think I can’t get behind the story of the mc and fmc. Nothing on part of the author I just don’t think I like their personalities and individual complexities.

Promising concept for a fun read - ended up with quite juvenile writing, repetitive plot and some holes that may no sense to me....pushed as best I could but had to stop around 80%....

Clever, Sexy and Captivating

This book is sexy and exciting full of drama and incredible scene setting. I was lucky enough to Arc read this book and I’ve loved every minute of it.

Greed can be good, being greedy for pleasure is an exciting concept…

This started out really good then fell flat. The storyline became repetitive and it was wild that Greed was just ignoring the rebel group who wanted to overthrow him. He wasn’t concerned about them at all until Vanya made a big deal about it. On top of that for being king he really didn’t care about anything. Vanya had to force him to care. Which didn’t make him seem genuine.

This was not my favorite. I started it in July and put it down 79% of the way through and didn’t pick it back up until September (and the only reason I did is because I didn’t want to DNF that far along.) It was truly fine, but there was just something about it that fell so flat about it all. Greed was very one dimensional; like o get he is the spirit of Greed but he should really have other personality traits than “I’m so greedy! But wait… am I?” Varya was a badass, but it wasn’t enough to save this for me.

That being said, sign me up for Gluttony’s book.
