A strange book - I’ve read strange books before and really enjoyed them, but this was a level of strange that I just couldn’t engage with or get on board with. I’m very glad it’s over.

It’s clear that I’m supposed to emphasize with the main character but she is written in a very unlikable way

Mean girls in an MFA writing program. Gruesome and cutesy at once, the contradictions had me entranced. This felt so real, so everyday, and yet woven together with the fantastically unreal.

wow. this was a strange one, truly. i really liked the obsessive nature of this book. to me, it felt like we were really just living in Samantha’s head, and I’m not sure I fully believe that anything in that book actually happened. I REALLY didn’t like the descriptions of the bunnies themselves, they came off cheap and more like that one weird kid in middle school, rather than the all powerful rich girls they were meant to be. Also I think the ending really sucked. I didn’t like the last third at all, and hated the last chapter. so yeah. i dont know.

Absolutely no idea wtf I just read but I loved every second of it. Beautifully written. Left me feeling like I can’t differentiate between what is real and what isn’t.
