I really don't know what to say about this one. It was entertaining as in I read the entire thing with a sense of morbid curiosity. I felt like there could've been more. More how? I'm not sure. But it definitely was... Interesting, I guess.

Trying to finish this book was a lesson in pain. The pain didn't come from his sad, never-ending attempts to gross the reader out. No, the pain came from forcing myself to stay somewhat engaged in this uninspired hot mess.

This is lazy writing in the worst possible way. It's insulting to the reader to think that we wouldn't be able to see the terrible writing through the thick layer of crude descriptors.

Wow!!!! I wish I could wash my brain in soap and water after finishing this book. Every word was like a punch in the face. Even so, I had to see it through to the end in the hopes that maybe there would be a satisfying conclusion (especially for the women). If you have trust issues regarding men, warning: this will only make it worse.

Another one of Palahnuik's crazy rides. He never gives us anything boring that's for sure. The subject matter alone wasn't really my forte, but I always enjoy reading about the crazy characters this guy dreams up. I intend to read all of his books one day. another one ticked off on the list!
