I read this book about 6 years ago and just remember it as a gross, disturbing book that had no point but to be gross and disturbing. I hear that's Chuck's thing. I haven't read any of his other work, but I can tell he ran out of ideas with this one.
Honestly not as bad as the scathing reviews make it out to be. But pales in comparison to Invisible Monsters.
