I really thought this book was going to be up my alley but this book is so poorly written! It was like trudging through mud trying to read this book. If only the author spent as much time developing characters and a compelling story line as he did with all of his adult film puns. This was a snore fest and the ending didn't make up for it at all! I also wished there was more of Cassie in the book in general. This book gets two thumbs down from me I almost DNR it! (Lastly this may be controversial but so brave of me but I believe this would have been a much better story if written by a woman)

i’ve never read this man before and I probably won’t again bc I think he’s more committed to being edgy than writing a good book. if two or three different things happened, this would have been a perfect book for me full of awful people. at the last minute he pulls his punch for a truly mr bean type ending… alright.

Chuck Palahniuk writes odd fiction and this one must have been one of the strangest books I've ever read. It comes without the mystery of Fight Club and without the humor and character depth of Choke. Still I somewhat enjoyed it but couldn't say that I liked it.
