Honestly, these books are some of my newest favorite!

pest

I love the entire World and each man individually but, Pestilence just holds a special place in my heart that I cannot let go of no matter how much I love the other Horsemen. There's just something so pure, naive, and sweet about him that I just melt.

The story, the spice, the characters, the relationship = all of it is just perfection.

I've always been fascinated by the four horsemen but, never really thought about reading them in a story. So when I found this series I was pretty excited to dive into it and see how a love story would work between these men and their women. I was so surprised at how much this series just clung to me. I read a LOT and while I generally like a book and will finish it - a LOT of books just kind of become background noise that I pretty much forget about. This series is definitely one that has stayed with me, years later.

For reference, some of my other favorite series: The Plated Prisoner, any of Natalia Jaster's series, Never After series, and one of my newest favorites is Unbreaking by L.D Waters.

Small random bit but, the first spicy scene between Pest and Sara was probably one of my favorite spicy scenes in a book.

I cannot recommend this series enough. Plague Daddy FTW.

I love a slow burn dystopian romance as much as the next guy, but there's a difference between the classic "enemies to lovers" trope and "entity who is here for the sole purpose of eliminating the human race due to their sins to lovers". I get that it's fiction, it's not meant to be realistic, but come on... Of all the people on earth, he chooses to spare Sara and they fall in love. It's just a little too far fetched for me. All that being said, you can bet that I will STILL be reading the remaining three books in this series 😂
