While I did not hate this book I didn't love it either. I felt like it moved so fast that the character development and relationships that characters had really fell flat. It was a fast read and wasn't boring but there was just so much missing. While I wouldn't necessarily mind reading the next book I also don't really feel the need to.

Middle school me was obsessed with this book. Adult me skimmed a significant amount of it (Juliette is quite the over-narrator), but was not disappointed by the Warner content. In my opinion, while not a bad book, this is one you have to get through so you can get to the ones later on.
