Lots of exposition.... I wanted to enjoy the world that was setup but it felt like a bunch of side quests in a video game. I also felt like some of their choices were confusing... Why grab Ms. Moore and bring her into the world at the end....? I like the characters and the girls friendship the most. Not a bad read, just wish it was less exposition. show don't tell
This book sort of dragged in places but it was still well done enough, snarky enough, and interesting enough that I didn't get tired of it.

I enjoyed this installment of the Gemma Doyle trilogy and look forward to picking up the last book!

I just could not get into this book. Try as I might, my inability to latch onto any of the characters left me unhappy with reading it and I couldn't make myself commit to the story. It's really a shame because I really enjoyed The Diviners books, but this just wasn't doing it for me.
