My Pratchett reread gets to Sourcery. Still fairly early in the series, this Rincewind centred tale is satirising fantasy and folklore tropes, rather like CoM and tLF did. The Unseen University feels different to later books. Discworld hasn't quite hit it's golden age yet.

Pratchett's an absolutely brilliant writer. So many sentences jump out, but the one that I was chuckling about for hours afterwards was "The wizards were now waszards." I love Rincewind as a character, but to be honest I didn't really connect with any of the major new characters introduced. I'm still very much enjoying my Discworld read through.

I'm not sure why this one gets rated lower. I liked it much more than Interesting Times. Rincewind is more proactive in the earlier books, once he gets pushed to a certain point.
