Despite preferring the second book more than this one, I still thoroughly enjoyed it. The Gray Wolf Throne is very heavy in politics, I enjoyed the beginning the most probably because it had some of the only action in the entire book, though despite the plot being calm afterwards I still wanted to keep reading onward.

The ending kind of confused me. Did the Demon King take over/ possess Han or is Han just calling himself that now? It seemed as though Alistar hadn’t changed up until the epilogue so I suppose I’ll just read the last book and figure it out (or maybe I’m just not paying enough attention).
I’m dreading finishing this series, I just want Alistar and Raisa to be together and for Amon to be happy with his fiancé but I kind of expect someone to die at some point and I’m not looking forward to it.

A bridge of a book. The main plot is just the journey and a bunch of bull shit mind games and accusations that would make anyone scream. Not to mention: love confessions only to lead to betrayal, to maybe scheming but now I can't tell if he is doing this for personal reasons or alterior motives..... the series is good bit this book just felt like one big explanation and just filling in holes to lead towards the end while also adding more confusion.

Oh, things are heating up! I couldn't put this book down until my eyelids betrayed me. There couldn't have been a better way to end this novel. I cannot wait to sink my teeth into book four and see how saga ends. For those who enjoy troublesome prophecy, love squares(?), political battles, and the eminent doom of war in fantasy novels, this is certainly one you will adore.

This series is so good. This book despite its size was a quick read.

This was definitely a great installment in the series. SO much happens; these characters are continually forced to grow far faster than they deserve with everything that's happening around them. Raisa in particular grows quite a bit in this one; she still has streaks of naivety and brattiness at times, but she's willing to take on the role she's destined for and live up to Hanalea's legacy. Han makes some discoveries of his own, and he sets forth with an agenda of his own. Han's friends get bigger roles here as well, and we get to see more of the bond that they have with him. I'm excited to see everything go down in the last book!
