I absolutely LOVED this book. LJ Andrew's has very quickly become an auto buy author for me ever since I read the Ever King series.
This book had me captivated from the very first page. I loved the Viking vibes of this book. Roark and Lyra are my absolute favourite couple, I think ever. The yearning, tension, banter, forbidden romance, it was all done to perfection.The way Lyra communicates with him when he can't speak, the fact that they bring the light to each other while embracing each other's darkness, it was all perfection.
The side characters were also so captivating. Kael, Thane, Emi and Ysra all had so much depth and I was just as invested with them as i was with our main couple. The plot was unique abs intriguing, and that ending !?!?! I'm sorry but I need book 2 NOW 😂
