While I am finding this world unique and the characters and storyline interesting, I just can’t give a book this short more than three stars. I know it is part of a series, but we barely get into the story before it ends. Personally, I like my fantasy to have a lot more detail, so I am perfectly fine with longer books. This feels like we have barely even scratched the surface. And with five main characters and a lot of world building to do, there should have been more.

This book had me enthralled from start to finish. It's fast-paced, and the story will keep you on your toes. The heroine is courageous, witty and headstrong. She keeps you entertained throughout the book and don't get me started on the 4 main love interests *fans face*. It's steamy and delicious my only complaint is how short it is. Can't wait to read book 2!!

It didn't flow right for me, felt really jumpy and all over the place! The story baseline was good but it definitely needed more work and fleshing out
