Book Review: Enigma: The Final Chapter

Shandi Boyes is an amazing author who has captured my total focus while reading this series. The Enigma series is full of twists and turns. Ups and downs. Highs and lows. There is so much lying behind each character and the people that they are. The depth to them is endless. Isaac is not at all the person the FBI tried to make him out to be in the beginning. Isabelle has grown so much in her character from book one as well.
This final book has thrown some major roadblocks in the way of Isaac and Isabelle. Will they be able to overcome? The entire series never disappoints. There are times you have to put your book down to get a deep breath. The suspense is palpable and you just really dont know what to expect at times.
This book is for mature audiences only. 18+ is recommended due to the sexual nature of many parts and for the situations that occur. I want so much to be able to go into depth about this book however in doing so I would probably give out way too many spoilers so I will leave it at this. GO READ THIS SERIES. You wont be disappointed. I know I am glad I took the chance on an author that I had not read before and I am thrilled to discover how wonderful Shandi Boyes is at her writing.
Five star read from series begin to series end. I am estatic to learn that next we will be discovering more about HUGO and his life and see where that leads. He is such a powerful character in this series.

Enigma: The Final Chapter is the fourth book in the Enigma series by Shandi Boyes and it officially marks my descent into book hangover land! I have to be honest when I say I am absolutely gutted that this is the final book in the series but I have also ABSOLUTELY LOVED every single word that I have read. I have read all 4 books in less than 48 hours! At the end of the book where the author says ‘I hope you enjoyed Isaac and Izzy’s story’ I actually answered and said liked? No I (insert swear word here) LOVED it! Not once did I find myself skipping pages to get to the exciting parts because in my eyes it was all exciting. There were twists where I didn’t expect them and there were new characters popping up everywhere who I also fell in love with! And there was Isaac – I just LOVE him!
The synopsis for this book is again spot on – Isaac and Izzy’s story has captured my attention from that first word in book one! I’ve loved with them, I’ve hated with them and I have been frustrated at them! They truly are amongst some of my favourite characters and Isaac is still firmly at the top of my book boyfriend list – it’s going to take a lot to knock him off that spot now!
I love that although the characters evolved and developed over the story they never changed completely they just became better versions of themselves.
This series has by far exceeded my expectations, the author has written a series to be very proud of. Not many authors can keep my attention over so many books by this one has. In fact I could happily read more about Isaac and Izzy and I really do hope that they pop up in any future stories! 5 stars is not enough for this book or any of them. The series as a whole was for me just out of this world. It’s definitely going to be one that I will read over and over again just so I can lose myself in the sexy mysterious world of Mr Isaac Holt – Shandi Boyes thank you for bringing him into my life!
I hear that a certain sexy Mr Holt appears in some more of this author's books so I am getting them now! I also can’t wait to see books about some of the other characters in the series – especially Hugo!!!! I really am looking forward to reading much more from this wonderful author!

I have really enjoyed reading this entire series. I highly recommend it. Especially to those that like cliff hangers, sex, a little mystery, a little adventure and lots of action and even more sex. There are loveable and hate-able characters in every book and The Final Chapter is no different. I am looking forward to reading more from Shandi Boyes.

Arrests, their own jealousy and even other people’s jealousy, FBI investigations, and just about any other thing Fate and Shandi Boyes could throw at them. But somehow, some way they come out stronger and even more in love, if that is even possible. This book has the greatest challenge EVER thrown their way. Watching the growth of the two main characters and even a few of the friends through the series made my heart grow. I could only imagine how Boyes feels after having written this series.

Of course if you know me I will give everything a chance, including things/people I’m not 100% sure of. I am so glad I continued this series!!! I absolutely love Isaac and Isabelle! Each book just got better and better with this, The Final Chapter, the best one. Again I am looking forward to what come next from Shandi Boyes.
