I tried so hard not to finish this book because I knew I’d have to wait for the next one but I wasn’t expecting the ending to break my heart like that!

I'm sorry but WTF!?!?! I can't even begin to tell you the way I screamed when I finished this one. Did it fix my shattered heart, yeah, did it also turn around and gut me, absolutely it did.
Careful Hades, your humanity is showing! We really get to see Hades in a whole new light in this one. We see pieces of her unthawing while she struggles to maintain control.
Cass, he truly is the grumpiest of cats, domineering but so dang sweet! He was also missing for far too much of this book. I would have liked more page time with him. Lucas is finally figuring out how he fits into their world and while I can't support the romance with him, I do enjoy seeing his character grow. Zed, he's so complicated, we knew he was hiding something and now we need to see what he has to say for himself.
Seph, she was very bratty in this one but I can't help but blame Hayden for some of her behavior. So many things could have been avoided if only they communicated.
Tate James is a QUEEN of cliffhangers and I have stopped being surprised when she sticks the knife in and twists it a bit before saying "the end" - jk that spot she chose to hit was on my blindside.

I love when authors pull an unexpected turn at the end of the book. I did not see that coming making me love the book more
