I liked this book mostly. I wasn’t a fan of the end. A lot of things were unexplained like why did the mom give up. Why didn’t we see lily and Eden become close. Like she meant the daughter one time and next thing is they are like bestie. It makes no sense. The end just felt super rushed. Things were just too loose for me. What is Eden doing? Is she going to med school? Liek what’s happening. Besides that the book was good. I’m assuming the author will just give details in the other books but I hate that. Overall it wasn’t bad but wasn’t good. Too rushed. 2.5/5

Good story, love a good hockey romance, decent writing.
I’m in a mental space right now where the crazy ex thing just pissed me off to no end and I had to consider whether or not to dnf. Plus the insta-love (it had literally been like 2-4 weeks and they’re in love) just made me feel the story was resolved long before it actually was so I was checked out anyway.

Awesome book!
Fantastic storyline with wonderful, strong characters dealing with abuse, neglect & domestic violence. Jordan consistently handles one tough issue after another with finesse, romance, & a beautiful HEA!
I have to go with 4 stars though, due to lack of skilled editing.
