This book is something unique, a completely new take on a hockey romance. It’s also a romance that means something. The way these love interests fall for each other is world shifting. Despite Tucker and Amedeo’s traumatic backgrounds they remained open to an unconventional meet-cute. This is nothing magical, rather a simple case of two people taking advantage of their extreme compatibility. Some of the elements of the story feel a touch overdone, but this is damn close to perfect.

I really didn't know what to expect going into this one, but I am so glad that I chose to read it.

It's such a warm fuzzy story despite some of the angst and issues the characters have to work through. I just love that these two characters find each other and have each other's backs.

I haven't seen many books that have as much representation in terms of disabilities, and this one has it in spades. The fact that it's sled hockey and blind hockey makes it a nice change of pace from traditional hockey romances. I'm really looking forward to the next book.

I liked this a lot, but I felt like there were so many moments when Tucker was like, “I’m an asshole, my friends are assholes”, but they’re not? His personality was a bit confusing; I still enjoyed the story though.
