This was such a fun ride. I loved every second I spent listening. Not a single word or sentence was wasted and the story itself shines with the light of one thousand suns. I particularly enjoyed the little snippets of South African history, of which I admittedly know very little. I'll definitely be tracking down the rest of Jonasson's stuff.

God this was hard work. The absurdist plot and staccato jerky writing were not my thing. Won't try his third book.
