Rainbow Rowell

Adorable, heartwarming, cute! This book is everything I need from a romantic contemporary.

Loved all the main characters. Loved the 90s throwbacks. Loved the format. Loved the humour.

Absolutely LOVE classic Rainbow Rowell!

Rainbow Rowell finally wrote a book I thoroughly enjoyed. It was romantic, charming, funny, and well-written. "there's no air in space"

3 stars. This was kinda cute in a weird way. I enjoyed it way more than I thought I would. It was quick and I absolutely loved the e-mails between Beth and Jennifer. They were so hilarious and reminded me of me and my friends. Lincoln was absolutely adorable and weird. I loved him, he just seemed like such a sweetheart. However, I wasn't completely sold on the romance in this, it was really far-fetched and seemed tacked on in the end. Overall, this was fun and I'm glad that I've read another Rainbow Rowell book that I actually enjoyed.

i feel conflicted bc i did generally enjoy this book. However, the list of things i didn't like is much bigger than the things i liked, but they're also all pretty nitpicky? They just kind of stacked up. there was a random wildly offensive chapter and the ending sucked (i liked it in concept, not in execution) but again it was a lighthearted romance read that i enjoyed reading.... to a certain extent

Heartbreaking and excruciating slow burn. But a delight.

by far one of the cutest and sappiest books ive ever read. i loved the characters!

This was such a simple and nicely written story. I love the way Rainbow writes her characters with such detail and love. And I always love the way she ends her stories. This was a joy to read and I was rooting so hard for Lincoln to overcome all the troubles in his life because I'm currently at a job I hate and want to quit where I'm surrounded by the wrong kind of people who I don't even interact with. So I might have felt this book a little strongly. 🥰

how does this feel conservative, not what i expected from this author
