Rainbow Rowell

I'm so glad to know that Landlines was an anomaly. This book was almost as beautiful as Eleanor and Park and just as impossible to put down.

Attachments was ADORABLE. Lincoln was SUCH a beautiful character. Pretty sure I would root for him even if he was a villain, he was just so caring and genuine. I don't think Beth was good enough for him, but I was just happy that HE was happy when the book ended.

It was a slow start and such an odd tale of falling in love, but I couldn’t help but smile almost the entire way through. Probably one of my favorites so far from Rainbow besides Carry On.

Super cute Rom Com. Perfect for what it is. I don’t feel like I can give a fluffy book 5 stars but very fun and nothing objectionable.

Rainbow Rowell did it again. She made me fall in love with another one of her books.

Absolutely amazing book. Loved how the story was told in either email chapters or narrative chapters. No complaints at all. Even teared up at the end because it was just so beautiful.

I read this book in 3 days, mainly while commuting on the bus. Not bad for the end of the semester busy times. Also, I was almost sad when my 30 minute commute came to an end and I had to go to my office or home. That's how amazing this book was.

My first Rainbow Rowell & I'm in love. :)

So both Beth and Jennifer work as journalists for a big company and write emails to each other about their day, life, daily struggles, just friends' stuff. Only it's against company policy. They even have a guy hired to monitor that. Enter Lincoln. Lincoln is a brilliant computer guy who foolishly applied to the job, thinking it will involve cool hacking and building firewalls and now he spends his day snooping in other people's emails and getting paid for it.

And then he comes across emails from Beth and Jennifer. Instead of reporting them, he reads on. And more he reads, more involved he becomes, slowly falling for one of them.

It's a cute story, told in a very interesting way. I enjoyed reading it very, very much, I was smiling throughout the entire book. It's the kind of story that just makes you happy. :)

(By every email there is a date stamp, but I glanced over that every time. So by about half of the book, while I enjoyed it very much, I kept wondering why they don't just send texts to each other, only to realize it's mostly set in 1999. :D)
