Made me cry more than the Orange manga.
I don’t really know what else to say. It’s great book and really pushes you into action.

Not gonna lie, it was very difficult to read about events I have only just started to process, but I appreciated the look at our current political landscape through the eyes of a parent. As a member of the "new generation" Powell talks about in his last chapter, I was given a welcome message of hope, as well as a wake-up call for how much there is left to do. How much I can do. Our strength lies in community, and it's our love for ourselves and our family that will hold us together.
Graphic: Death and Grief
Moderate: Hate crime, Racism, Panic attacks/disorders, and Mental illness
Minor: Gun violence, Hate crime, Homophobia, and Islamophobia
