The Poet, staring Jack McEvoy, has been my favorite of the Bosch Universe so far. This McEvoy installment was also very good, though not as good as his debut appearance. This one features FBI Agent Rachel Walling, who also appears in other Bosch Universe books. McEvoy and Walling make a good team, and I enjoyed the ride from start to finish. 4-stars when weighted against other Bosch Universe installments.

Kind of a sequel to the Poet. Not as good as previous books from Michael Connelly. It would have been better if the ongoing dialogue from Carver was removed until closer to the end.

Eh... not bad but it took effort to make it all the way through.

Holey schmokes! What a thrill ride this one was. Highly excellent.
