So many spelling mistakes? Also
I knew who Caelum was from the get go, it really could have been concealed better. I will say I enjoyed the reveal and the filth left me gobsmacked!

The first quarter of the book was supposed to build the world but spent too much time in the MFC’s head anticipating her abuse.

Mediocre writing, but I finished it

A very slow beginning and pretty much clueless main character. We don't meet the love interest until Chapter 12, and even then it’s YA awkward. I am not a fan of the “little one” nickname for potential lovers. Unfortunately, this book is always on the edge of being good with plot points and characters.

First book is good, second is a bit slower. Third I DNFed. The plot is severely dragging and slow compared to the first 2 books. A lot darker but yet somehow juvenile. I’ll be interested to see what the 4th book brings.

I have to say... I wasn't expecting much from this book when I first initially started it but by the end I was engrossed and fully decided that I needed the rest of the series.

It first started our along similar lines as A Court of Thorns and Roses but as it progressed it strayed into its own plot line.

Estrella has a hard life but quickly learns that she won't let a man rule her life anymore. I admire this in her as she has the strength to stand up to her abuser first and then later against her brother.

Caelum is stunning. I love Caelum. From the beginning he always showed that he was racy, sassy and protective of her but he was sweet, understanding and fully appreciative of her. Ha ha... I was so naive......

Read it and when you get to the end and the plot twist kicks your ass as well, come talk to me.
