I will forever love King & Cress. Getting another book from them was so fun but also so dramatic and will of angst!!

king and cress. i enjoyed this a lot more than i thought. i adore king, have since his first book. and to get his pov? absolutely fantastic. he's head over heels in love with cress, possessive of her. i love that he's this biker who's obsessed with reading and poetry. i bawled... let's not discuss that.. yet another book in this series that i'm sobbing over. giana really got me in my feels with these men and their girls

TWs at the end of my review

Despite the author’s note AND the plethora of clues, I was still effing WORRIED this entire book. It’s a testament to Darling’s writing (or maybe a testament to the scope of my general anxiety) that I was on the edge of my seat, despite the many assurances of an HEA.

In all seriousness I loved the beautiful ride this story took me on. It moved me to tears to see Cress and King blossom in their love for one another and the way the supporting cast of characters came together at the end to grieve and rejoice in equal measure. The author does a wonderful job illustrating grief and love as two sides of the same coin. Also… I LOVE King. His reflections on waiting his whole life to love Cressida, even before he knew her name or face…
Like a lot of the other reviews I’ve seen on GR, I’m pretty much speechless.

TWs (may not be complete, contains spoilers)

Violence/Gore
Attempted SA
Drugs
Death of a spouse (don’t freak out)
Depression

4.5 I loved this book so much!
I fell in love with King and Cress in the first book so I was so glad to be back reading about them.
Their relationship is so cute and heartwarming. I swooned so much whilst in King’s pov because of how he talked about Cress. He just adores her so much and he really becomes a man in this book. Cress was also really developed in this book and she became a true biker babe. I also absolutely loved the family element to this book with the whole MC being a giant family. Their interactions with everyone was truly amazing. I also loved the side characters liked Priest, Wrath, Nova, Ares etc. I also loved seeing characters from the previous books like Daddy Zeus! *wink*
The last part of the book had me full on crying and Gianna Darling is so cruel for doing that to me!
I can’t wait to read the next one!

5+ stars. This book follows the same couple from book 1, King and Cressida. The ongoing story arc through the series is so good, almost as good as each book’s storyline. The one thing this book had was me crying over it. Can’t wait to see what happens next.

I swear each book in the series gets better and better.
And that says a lot when I gave five stars to the first book.

I read a lot. I try to read a book at least every two days. And let me tell you, I have found some amazing books but when it comes to expressing emotional pain, grief, and the sheer brutality of what it feels like to lose the person that you love most; there’s not many authors out there that can grasp that emotion to where it can drive a reader to tears.
Giana Darling did that in this book. She captured the raw emotion and fucking horrible feeling of losing a loved one. I had to literally shut my Kindle off two times during this book and try to gather up my own emotions because I was so overwhelmed with a characters sadness and I desperately wanted to bring the loved one back. This book was so beautifully written. I mean I think I’ve said that with all of the books I’ve read by her so far but this was honestly the most emotional book ever!
And then she twisted my freaking heart and then plummeted my emotions into a 180 towards the end of the book. Omg.
This isn’t necessarily even a review it’s just me wanting to give Gianna Darling a high five and letting her know that she can capture a characters emotions and feelings so well that I as a reader can feel them as if they are my own.

Okay so, this book.. a shit ton happened.
“I need you to know that I would fall from grace again and again if it meant living in sin with you.”

Cress and King are couples goals. They are literally the most passionate and romantic couple I have ever read about in such a long time. The fierce loyalty between those two is unbreakable. And I’m gonna be honest Cressida was not my favorite character in the series. And probably my least favorite female character. However this book completely changed my idea and I absolutely fell in love with how strong she has become since being part of the Fallen family. Relationship with each and every other character especially Zeus was is so beautiful.

This book is going to take in my head for a very long time. And that’s when you know you found a author to stalk for a long time.
I genuinely hope Wrath and Lysander become more frequent in the series. I am desperately wanting both of these broken men to have their own HEAs.

Anyway. Five beautiful stars for an incredible book.
