I love the world this book is set in, really well thought out with lots of fun little details. The Thunderhead's little diary entries between chapters was interesting too. The actual plot of the book was pretty boring though. I liked the ending and how the different plotlines came together, but other than that it was pretty dull.

This book moves slower than book #1, but the intrigue is there. There’s a lot of politics and it’s less about the actual scything. The ending was wild and I’m curious how book 3 will go
