I think I'm glad I'm reading this, but I don't think I'd pick it up again. For one, this volume has a drawing of Shoya imagining killing his younger self. While I understand the sentiment, the image of a dead limp child was super disturbing to me.

Overall, this volume was more interesting. I think it's important they show that not everyone is looking to be a better person, unfortunately. But I don't know why Shoya tried to contact Nao again after the congregation at his house. I guess he feels he's not much better, but clearly he is now. Nao is still bullying and blaming Shoko, Shoya is NOT!

out of all former classmates, I hate Naoko the most.
Miki is also a backstabbing, two-faced B but Naoko's attitude annoyed me the most.

Esta serie está convirtiendo en una de mis favoritas con diferencia. Las cosas están progresando, las heridas siguen abiertas pero se ve luz al final del camino. Un manga muy hermoso y muy doloroso a partes iguales.

i think this manga is doing great work with shoya's pov, it's giving a very full look into the effect bullying can have on the aggressor and the factors that can encourage it. unfortunately it's not giving anywhere near the same level of depth to shoko

and the love confession feels especially unbelievable when we have no idea what's prompted her change of heart to shoya
