I like this book not only because one of the character's is deaf but it shines a lot of light on bullying. Good story.

I guess it would be too idealistic for every character to change for the better. Here, we can see the contrast between Shou who had matured from being a bully and Ueno who clings to her childhood behaviour. This reminds me of those books about manners by Joy Berry that mama coaxed me to read when I was younger.

However, this book is quickly moving into shoujo genre. *sigh*
