The book thief is one of those classics you have to read at least once. It made me forget I was reading. The book shows you what power words have. I expected that it would destroy me. But I never had the urge to cry during the story. It was beautifully written, very unique, from the death’s perspective. I loved the characters so much, especially Max. The way the author describes Liesel’s love for words and books is so incredibly fascinating.I think you need to read this book slowly and in different parts, you need to let the words sink in. I found it really interesting to learn more about WW || and from another perspective. The ending was so devastating but beautiful at the same time. Words can’t do justice to this magnificent and special book.
