The artwork alone deserves 5++ stars; it's so beautiful and incredibly detailed! There were times when I just stopped reading to stare at the art!
Overall, I'd give this volume a 4 stars because there are quite a few things I'm somewhat confused about. The world is very interesting but it took me a while to understand and get into the story because the plot is pretty complex, hopefully things get a little clearer as the story continues. I can't wait to pick up the next volume!

Made it to the third (fourth?) issue. It’s just not for me. Decided I could use the first issue to count for my reading goal instead of forcing myself to read something I’m not enjoying.
