Quick read and interesting premise. Problematic descriptions of women and minorities turned me off from page one.

intriguing idea but labored prose and not good, finder has done way way better. i finally skipped out during a divorced dad rant about the courts being "anti man"

You have to swallow a lot of coincidences and obvious steps not taken to go along with the story, but our antihero is quite appealing. Not sure I need to read anything else by Finder, though.

Our regular corporate guy gets into trouble and the villain is the US Government, NSA, or someone trying to bury top government secrets. Oh! Where have I heard such a plot? Maybe in 10 other such thrillers? This one doesn’t have anything new. The hero makes some incredibly stupid decisions, yet manages to survive and outwit the villains without any active planning.
The funniest part was when the author insists how smart the Senator Susan Robbins was. She was so smart that she carries a laptop with a post-it note with the password stuck to the laptop's bottom.

I thoroughly enjoyed this mystery- I wish I had reviewed it right after I read it, but life's been busy. The book kept me entertained and guessing, and it was well-written. I'd read others by Finder!

The motivation of all of the characters was ridiculous, and their actions were over the top overreactions. I had to force myself to finish and then was sorry I had wasted my time on it.
