This book is filled to the brim with short stories written by LGBTQIAP+ writers who write to inspire young members f the community! If you get easily bored with books or lose interest, then this one is for you, since they're very short stories, but don't be fooled, they are all very moving, and some end very mysteriously, which makes you wonder what happened afterwards, which made me think about this book for days.

it's such a good collection of stories, art, poems, but i find it hard to write a review for this book as a whole, because they were all so different and touched me on different levels.
some were just really cute, some very moving, some i didn't resonate with *that* much, but in the end, i liked them all.

This book is an anthology of queer stories by queer authors with artwork by queer illustrators. This book contains representation of a variety of identities. I really enjoyed the format of the book, with a collection of stories of a variety of genres and writing styles, poetry and artwork. I really enjoy short stories and this book contained lots of lovely ones.

This book was an enjoyable read and I would recommend :)

My favourite stories

  • Penguins
  • The pheonixs fault
  • On the run
  • The instructor

Content warnings for specific stories (apologies this is not a full list and doesn't contain all stories)

On the run -  shop lifting/theft, implied hitting/abuse from family

Almost certain - dementia,  panic attack, anxiety, heart attack, death, grief

The other team- transphobia, misgendering

I hate Darcy pemberly- slut shaming

Love poems to the city- homophobia
