Okay I wasn’t expecting Josie to be involved as well even tho she was upset and weird the whole time. I knew it was one of the family but wasn’t expecting the marriage. I had trouble with all the characters in this one. A lot were irrelevant and several were very annoying. Good mystery tho. I love when it’s surprising but still makes sense. Might’ve missed something with it being an audio book vs reading it cause I was confused about the grudge and moving of the body.

The BBC audiobook is top notch, with a large cast of narrators and was very well done. This is my first Miss Marple. I wanted to learn of Miss Marple and compare her to Poirot, but this short story does not give many personal details or personality clues about Miss Marple. All details are strictly about the murder mystery, which was of a complicated nature even though this was a short story. I was not able to figure out who done it ahead of time. I will have to read other stories to learn of Miss Marple.
