If possible, I think I am starting to like the Anna/Charles dynamic better than I do the Mercy/everyone dynamic. I love Anna's arc, which has been very nicely developed over these three books to where her actions in the climax are completely believable even though it is almost exactly opposite of how she acted when we first met her. The tension is real and I am really looking forward to seeing how she and Charles continue to grow together.
Definitely read the first in this series before this, they are all good in their own right, but this is the best of the bunch.
