celou dobu mi to přišlo nudné, ale posledních pár kapitol bylo docela fajn

Amazing Read! I love the Original Little Women book as I teenager and reading this modern day version.
Sisters, family, lovers, drama all rolled into this story that kept me entertained from the first to last page.
I liked how Author Anna Todd gives us a good amount of story of each sister and their lives.
Go grab this book and enjoy the bond of sisterhood, family & love.

I felt this was a darker version of Little Women. I also didn’t like the ending so much. So Meg goes off with one guy & Jo decides to date Laurie. What about Amy & Beth? How are their stories finished? Not that I feel like Meg’s & Jo’s were that finished either. Unless there is a sequel coming. Plus I’m not clear on the aunt’s role in the book.

I feel like it’s a new author still feeling her way around writing a book. It’s needs a little more polish I think.

I see a lot of low ratings at this book but i actually love it, the characters are well described and the point of the story was to see behind them - Meg might act like a slut sometimes but I think she really wants to be with John Brooke because she is tired of the same guys who are liking her only for her body
Jo sure, might look like she hates her sister but she is at that age where she needs space and she is struggling to understand her own emotions.
Beth is just anxious and honestly I kinda relate to her, and what if she went with her family to Disney World? Her family are the only ppl she seems to trust
And Amy, c'mon now, she's only 12. She's just an immature child still, just trying to learn from her sisters.
I really enjoyed reading this book

I should have trusted my instincts and closed the book when reading that the girls call their mom by her first name. The only thing this book has in common with Little Women is the first names of the characters.

Really can't count this as 'Read'....disliked it so much after 2 1/2 chapters, I decided not to waste my time. If you are a big fan of "Little Woman", proceed with caution....

I wasn’t sure how to feel about a book that compares itself to a classic. But I really enjoyed Todd’s Spring Girls. She does a great job depicting the lives of a family full of very individual teen girls. Each girl coming of age at different stages yet all dealing with living the life of a military. I really liked this book but I can’t say it compares to the classic Little Women.
