I enjoyed this book. At first I wasn’t sure I liked it. My honest rating is a 3.5. I really liked lu, no surprise there because I love strong female characters. My issue is I still wasn’t super emotionally invested in the story and it all felt like I had read the majority of this story before. Like brother bear mixed with falling kingdoms and the typical I must fight for my crown book. I enjoyed it for what it was but I wish it was more original. I knew what was going to happen and could tell you who would survive and who was going die but not die before I ever finished it. I didn’t like the changing of views much. I did get used to it. I think this book would be a huge hit for those people who haven’t read much like this book before. I think lots of people would enjoy seeing the characters and how they evolve throughout the story. If you’ve read a lot of books like this you may feel similarly too me like you read it somewhere before and it’s not as original as you’d like. But in general I think people will enjoy this book. It’s definitely a easy read for me and I did enjoy it for what it was despite being predictable.

This seemed really promising, but unfortunately, it just didn't deliver for me. The story dragged, and although there were major plot events occurring, the flow of the story seems slow and clunky. The dialogue was boring and childlike, and overall the story just wasn't that impactful.
