I wish I had read The Secret History right after finishing the first Mistborn trilogy. It’s still good and definitely interesting, but I think the impact would have been much stronger then. I really enjoyed seeing Kelsier again and experiencing key events from a different perspective. The story also adds some intriguing layers of insight into the larger Cosmere, which was a highlight for me.

It's a good summary of the past three books and gives you a taste of the lore of the world. Just enough for me to be excited for more - like this book was meant for me.

This is insane Mr. Sanderson!
I was already sold on the Cosmere after ”the Hero of Ages” but NOW I’m actually interested in reading it the ”right” order.
Kelsier was really about it huh whitout us knowing it in the shadows, neat. I seriously fucked with Kelsier and Fuzz; they are a team.
Awesome forshadowing and I was overjoyed with seeing Vin and Elend entering the “in between realm”.
So much worthy content in here for an EXTRA story, GOSH ITS GOOD.

It’s been some time since I read the Mistborn series, so at times I felt a little lost because I didn’t quite remember what was important from the main books.
For a short story this was top tier! It’s so hard to say anything that won’t give major spoilers BUT if you loved Kelsier as a character then you will love this novella. The basic plot is about Kelsier still trying to fight Ruin after his death!
It goes into a lot of detail about the mysteries behind some of the Cosmere/shards. It basically expands on an already great trilogy (that has a special place in my heart).
