The last book of the life of Cathy and Chris. Again, I could not wait to read it. I do however have to say that with every book a little get lost of the charm the story has. Sometimes it is better not to make a sequel or sequels to a story. I did like it, but what I said the charm got lost. I am still not a fan of Bart, I was worried about the last book that he would stay mean, and lets be honest not much had changed. What a weird boy/man, but without him there wouldn't be a lot of story. So it will get just under 4 points. Up to book 5 of this series.

My usual disclaimer when it comes to the Flowers In The Attic series: I don't enjoy these books because they are good or even well written, but because they play a movie in my head and draw me in for reasons completely unknown to me. However, I did not like this one as much which is disappointing because it is the end of the series, at least- the end of what VC Andrews actually wrote (not counting the prequel she wrote before her death which is also on my TBR). I still cried and wanted to punch the air though, so 4 stars it is.

This is how I felt after going through book 3 and 4....
15 years after the third installment of the Dollanganger series, Cathy and Chris return to the new and rebuilt Foxworth mansion for Bart's 25th birthday. The family gathers to celebrate under a cloud of deceit and pain to come.
If you enjoyed it, I am happy. I have distaste for the continuations...

I’m really sad the series is over, there is a prequel but that isn’t the same. But I liked how it ended I think it was a good conclusion to this absolutely insane series
