You know, I really loved the first book in this series. The main couple was lovable and the problems seemed genuine. There were plenty of times where, in spite of knowing better, I really feared for Mac and Carter's ability to work through it all.

Not the case here. I love Emma and Jack, but it seems that any problems to their courtship are entirely manufactured and easily done away with when no longer convenient for the author. Her writing is still enthralling and, yes, I still want to own Vows, but this love story was only so-so.

Entirely too much wedding discussion. The main couple wasn’t believable.

Loved the second book in the series just as much as the first! Nora Roberts is amazing :). Beautiful descriptions and the characters just fit!

Book #2 in the Bride Quartet series by Nora Roberts. It was just as cute and fluffy as book #1 which is exactly what the doctor ordered this week.

The series is centered around 4 women who run a wedding business in Connecticut. Each of them has a particular skill to bring to the business, such as florist, photographer, event planner, and baker. Each book follows one of the 4 characters, so of course they all begin single but by the end you know they will magically fall in love and live happily ever after! I know, it sounds cheesy. It's even cheesier to read, but I loved it!

The next book comes out in May 2010 so thankfully that's not that long to wait. Gotta have some chick lit fluff on the nightstand every once in a while, right??

This was my first book written by Nora Roberts. In my opinion it was just an average romance novel. There was nothing new or refreshing.

I laughed, I cried...I cringed when there were sex scenes. A dreamy book. Nora Roberts does an excellent job of developing her characters.

This is the 2nd in the Bride series. I didn't connect as much with this character as I did the first but it was still enjoyable. I wish men in real life were like the ones in romance novels.
