A good story. Didn’t have quite the inventiveness of the first one though. It didn’t take risks, which made the adventure part a bit boring.

Still adorable, though not as strong as the first volume. This one felt meaner in a way. I like to see best friends support each other, and here they felt like they were pushing at each other a little too much.

Goldie Vance is back and this time she is searching for the origins of the mysterious astronaut who appeared on the resort’s beach.

Another very fun entry in the series. Perfect read for tweens and teens.

Goldie Vance Vol 2 continues the fun of the first volume. We get some more time with Goldie's mom. her girlfriend and deeper look at Cheryl. It's a very wonderfully drawn and colored book with a very fun cast. If your looking for a fun inclusive book I think this is a really solid series to jump into. I don't think you really need to have read volume one to read this so if Vol 2 just happens to be on sale but vol 1 isn't then go ahead and get this first.

I love you cartoon

I love this series!! Goldie is a whip smart firecracker, Diane is a rock and roll doll, and Cheryl is a geeky astronaut in the making. The latter two help balance Goldie's boundless curiosity, and feet first stubbornness.

We learn more about Walt this go around and he seems to fit in much better. We also see more of Goldie's mom and I'm so glad! I was worried with the first installment it'd be all busy Dad and absent Mom.

I so appreciate each installment being a fully encapsulated mystery. I like comics, but I have problems accepting cliffhangers and waiting.

My favorite quote:
"You're the race car. I'm the mechanic."

A great sequel! Reminds me of Lumberjanes in writing, illustrations and style. A real fun read with diversity that makes me so happy to see.
