june 2021:
new fave of all time.
i cried at the very end.
so many good discussions about the subtle aggressiond of a toxic relationship and it made me feel so seen.
the fact that it was a reimagining of Dracula's brides was the icing on the cake. the body gore & steamy scenes were also perfection. cant wait to read everything this author writes!

reread october 2021:
cried again. still 5 stars. still my fave of all time.

02/2024: 5th reread but first time via audio & it simply isn't the same. highly recommend reading physically if you're able to!

08/2023: 4th reread and i cried AGAIN because of the last page. it truly hits every single time.

read it for the 3rd time and this time in one sitting. still cried on the very last page. i think this will forever be my favorite book...
