Me lo he leído de una sentada y me ha gustado mucho el sistema de magia. Al día con el Cosmere. Me he leído los 3 volúmenes pero no los voy a registrar

I was a little confused, which is why I like to read fantasy instead of listening to it. But the vibes were there, and I still enjoyed it.
Also, Kenton annoyed me. I don't know what it is about him, but he just had an annoying attitude. I would have loved more of Khriss, and I can't wait to read more about her journey.

Surprisingly much better on the second read. Still would have preferred this not being a Graphic Novel. Onward to Volume 2.

Brandon Sanderson is probably my favorite author of all time. That being said, I didn't enjoy this graphic novel as much as I thought I might. I think my biggest problem with it is it was way too short. Now, I know that's not Brandon's fault--many graphic novels are really short and this is just the first volume--but it was set up in a similar way to his other works. What that means is, Brandon is setting us up for an amazing storyline, but it takes a while to get there, and often the juiciest bits of the stories start halfway through. That works swell if it's a novel, but since this is a graphic novel, it seemed like this whole first volume was just worldbuilding and introducing us to the characters. We got the main characters, a hint of a few different conflicts going on, a whole bunch of mystique, and then it was over, just when it seemed like the story was going to take off.
Now, that being said, I did give it four stars, and it was for a reason. This world that Brandon created is amazing. I'd been waiting to get my hands on this book for a long time, since I read the first little excerpt of it that was included in Arcanum Unbounded. I loved the idea of the main character and, as usual, the magic system was really interesting. I really can't wait to learn more about it and see it in motion! The first portion of the book before the massacre of the sand masters was amazing. And the art is really cool too! I sort of wish all of Brandon's books were turned into graphic novels (or TV series!!!!) just so I can see his visual of how the magic systems would play out (of course, imagination works just as well).
Overall, I did like this book. I can't wait until I can find the next two. I just want this story to keep coming! Also, I got to meet the infamous Khriss!!!! It's the little things, like finally meeting a worldhopper that's been mentioned several times in other books/series. I'll be on the lookout for Volume 2.
