I can’t get enough of Garrett Leigh’s wonderfully crafted guys and their love stories. She takes such care in the details of giving her characters real-world struggles and finding just who they need to take a little weight of the world off their shoulders. This book won’t let you put it down with a story that brings 2 good men together with some serious spicy heat and enough angst to keep you in your feels.

Dylan has just left the FOB relationship he was in with his two best friends and is feeling very lonely. His job is taxing and he just needs some release. He escapes to a sex club for the night and he has a night that he can’t get off his mind. At his job as a financial advisor in walks in the anonymous man he can’t forget from the club, and before they realize it the walls that have been closing in on them both fall away. Angelo is drowning in debt, obligation to his family, a life he can’t escape, and a disease that is crippling him. Dylan might be just what he needs, and Angelo might be the man Dylan needs to love.

Angelo and Dylan both stole my heart right along with each other’s. I loved the care and patience Dylan had for Angelo, who has all the stereotypical fire of an Italian man. Very rarely is falling in love easy, and I loved how their story took some twists and turns to get there with real world problems and a major kick in the pants for Angelo to realize what he wants. This sweet story had me from page one all the way to the end and left me one clicking the rest of the series.

I don’t know. I had a tough time getting through this book. I loved Angelo, and I feel like his ME was portrayed well? I just had a tough time connecting with Dylan. I think I should have read What Matters first, because the Eddie/Sam storyline kind of seems abrupt here without that full backstory and emotional connection to the characters.

There was just a lot packed into this for me. I am all for a saffic romance, always, smut was good but the storyline was just one extreme to another. I feel like one or two life plots would have been sufficient for me because the characters were chefs kiss.

Really liked this. The ending came out of nowhere, but even so, Dylan and Angelo are great. They have great chemistry and I just really liked them as people.

What an amazing read!
Dylan and Angelo's relationship may not begin until much later in the book but they come to rely on each others support at least physically much earlier than that. As someone with CFS, it's so refreshing to read about such an illness and the full impact it has on your life - physically, mentally, and with work and love. Dylan's support is amazing but his honesty about not understanding parts of what Angelo experiences is a welcome relief from the pretense or brush off that can happen a lot.
It was heartwarming seeing each character coming to learn how to lean on the other, that they can offer different things to a relationship and you're not thought less of for being who you are. We don't hear a lot from supporting characters but those who are there offer good input and depth to the story. Angelo's family being his reason for being back in Romford but also for his self imposed workaholic schedule his body cannot cope with. Dylan's relationship with his best friend that he's run from seems to have messed with him emotionally but meeting and creating something with Angelo is a great way for him to build himself back up.
Garrett's writing is as beautiful as ever. Drawing you into the story and gripping you until it's finale and offering hope in a hopeless situation when you have the support of family and loved ones.
The are a couple of scenes of sex in a safe, public place with others watching on.
I hope that this book actually offers support to fellow sufferers. I know this is a work of fiction but the points are still valid, from both sides.
Definitely recommend this book! For those who are already fans of Garrett Leigh and newcomers to her work.

Maybe it is time to accept GL's books are not for me. We don't mesh well.
